About Robin
Robin has spent 12 years in marketing. He was Marketing Director at The University of Texas at Austin, the school where he earned his degree in business and managerial economics, and later VP of Marketing at Tech Stack Crunch, where he ran marketing for more than three years before founding AI Ranked.
AI Ranked is built around a question few marketing teams can answer today: when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Mode for a recommendation, which brands get named, and why? Robin's bet is that the answer can be measured, and that the teams who start measuring it now will be well ahead of the ones who wait.
He writes AI Ranked's guides and leads its original research, from a robots.txt study of 261 major websites to an analysis of the sources Google AI Overviews cite for B2B software. His working rules are simple: test before you publish, link every number to where it came from, and say so when the data doesn't exist yet. Our editorial standards and how we test and rank explain how that plays out on every page.
