The best AI SEO agencies in 2026: 10 firms that optimize for Google and AI answers

Ten agencies that sell AI SEO as a named service, compared on fit, public pricing, the engines they cover and the AI results they can actually show, plus how to tell an AI search agency from one that just writes with AI.

Short answerAn AI SEO agency optimizes your site and brand to rank in Google and to be named in AI answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The best AI SEO agencies are Arobis AI (best for B2B SaaS, from $2,500 a month), Quoleady (SaaS content and links), iPullRank (enterprise), Siege Media (content scale) and Seer Interactive (enterprise research).
Key takeaways
  • Only 1 of the 10 agencies here publishes a starting price for AI SEO: Arobis AI at $2,500 a month. Thrive lists budget bands on its contact form, and the other eight quote after a call.
  • "AI SEO agency" means two different things: agencies that optimize for AI search, and agencies that use AI to produce SEO work. This list covers the first kind.
  • Google's spam policy names "using generative AI tools or other similar tools to generate many pages without adding value for users" as scaled content abuse.
  • Seer Interactive's research on 231,347 LLM responses found brands with strong digital signals got 7.8x more AI visibility.
  • Ask every agency which engines it tracks: coverage on this list ranges from three engines (Quoleady) to seven (Thrive and Arobis AI).

Which AI SEO agencies should you shortlist?

Arobis AI, Quoleady, iPullRank, Siege Media and Seer Interactive are the five to call first, and the full ten are ordered by fit for a company that wants classic Google rankings and AI answer visibility from one partner. Every agency below names AI search optimization on its own site. We checked each site for price, terms, engines covered and AI-specific proof; where a site is silent, the table says so.

1. Arobis AI: best AI SEO agency for B2B SaaS

Best for: B2B SaaS companies whose buyers build vendor shortlists in AI tools · Price: $2,500/mo Foundation (3-month minimum), $5,000/mo AI Search Growth, custom Enterprise1

Arobis AI describes itself as an AI Search Demand Generation agency and, on its SaaS page, as "not another SEO agency"2. That's the honest way to read it on an AI SEO list: it does the AI half of AI SEO deeply and the classic half only where the two overlap. Work runs in four steps (audit, authority building, answer-ready content, continuous monitoring) across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode.

It publishes the details most agencies keep for the sales call: 40 buyer prompts in the Foundation audit, monthly third-party placements, rewrites of comparison, alternatives, pricing and homepage copy, and weekly AI answer re-checks on the $5,000 plan1. Its one client result is anonymized: 0 to 5 of 5 money prompts naming the client and 3.1x more Google AI Overview and AI Mode impressions in 60 days2. Most clients see movement in 60 to 120 days, according to the same page.

If your site has deep technical SEO debt (crawl budget, migrations, faceted navigation), Arobis AI isn't built for that, and you'll want a technical SEO partner alongside it. It also doesn't take e-commerce, DTC or local clients.

2. Quoleady: best for SaaS that needs content and links that LLMs pick up

Best for: SaaS companies building organic and AI visibility from a small base · Price: not published; consultations are free3

Quoleady sells "LLM optimization" as a defined package: a technical SEO and LLMO audit, an LLM visibility audit across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, research into high-intent prompts and the sources models trust, a combined SEO and LLMO roadmap, and digital PR that places clients in the listicles LLMs cite3. It tracks prompts with its own tool, Allmond4, which makes it one of the few agencies at this size with in-house measurement.

Its testimonials are about growth from zero: FullSession.io generated 500 leads from 16 blog articles in four months, and ResponseScribe reached 4.62k clicks on a new domain within six months3. Effy.ai grew to almost 2 million impressions and 60,000 organic clicks a month over a 2.5-year engagement.

Every number on the homepage is a Google or lead metric. Ask for a before-and-after AI answer from a client in your category, and ask whether the listicle placements are editorial or paid, since that changes how long they last.

3. iPullRank: best for enterprise sites with complex search problems

Best for: enterprise and mid-market companies · Price: not published5

iPullRank calls itself an enterprise and mid-market AI search agency, and Mike King's team frames the work as Relevance Engineering: understanding how AI systems identify and select passages, then structuring content so they pick yours5. Services cover AI search (GEO) strategy and measurement, technical SEO, content strategy and an AI Search Strategy Program with custom roadmaps and audits.

The published cases are about scale: $2.4B in incremental revenue for a major bank and $290M for a global marketplace5. Those are search revenue figures, not AI answer metrics, and the logos (American Express, Target, adidas) tell you the typical client size. A Series A startup will probably find the engagement too big.

4. Siege Media: best AI SEO agency for content-led growth

Best for: SaaS, fintech and consumer brands with large content programs · Price: not published6

Siege Media sells "full-service GEO" on top of a content and link-building engine that has run for years, and it says it analyzes prompt and citation data to find gaps in AI mentions6. Its homepage carries the strongest set of named AI results on this list: 98% LLM visibility for Zendesk, 96% for Zapier (with 126 pieces ranking in Google's top 10), and 46.5k LLM citations for Instacart6.

"LLM visibility" isn't defined on the page, so ask which prompts, engines and run counts produce the 98%. Siege earns its fee by producing and promoting content at volume; if you need ten pages fixed rather than a hundred written, a smaller shop will move faster.

5. Seer Interactive: best for enterprise teams that want research behind the strategy

Best for: enterprise marketing teams · Price: not published7

Seer lists GEO as a service next to SEO and paid media, runs an AI consulting practice called SeerAdvance, and reports 130+ enterprise clients with a 92% retention rate7. What sets it apart is the research it publishes: one study of 231,347 LLM responses found brands with strong digital signals had 7.8x more AI visibility, and another found a 67% decline in organic CTR for pages not cited in AI Overviews7.

The GEO service description is short, and the AI case study on the homepage (an outdoor living brand) gives no figures. Ask how the research translates into a client plan before assuming it does.

6. Thrive: best for smaller budgets that want no long-term contract

Best for: small and mid-sized businesses in any industry · Price: not published; its contact form offers SEO budget bands, including $2,500 to $5,000 a month8

Thrive, in business since 2005 and operating in 25 cities, sells managed AI SEO that blends passage-level optimization, schema, technical audits, digital PR, reviews and directory citations8. It names the widest engine list here (Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, ChatGPT search via Bing, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot) and says it earns clients "through performance, not contracts", with no long-term commitment.

Its AI results are unnamed but specific: a medical group with 2,658% more AI Overview citations and over 1,000 AI citations in total, and a shoe company with 610% more ChatGPT traffic8. Thrive also publishes its own ranking of AI SEO agencies with itself first14, so read its marketing with that in mind. The service is pitched at every industry and budget, so if you're a B2B SaaS company, ask who on the team has worked in your category.

7. OuterBox: best for e-commerce AI SEO

Best for: e-commerce, SaaS, healthcare, financial services and B2B tech, with the deepest work on product catalogs · Price: not published9

OuterBox has 300+ in-house staff across Akron, Houston and Tuscaloosa, and its AI SEO service starts with an LLM visibility audit that tests brand inclusion in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Bing Copilot9. From there it covers AI Overview and zero-click optimization, schema, entity and prompt mapping, and conversion work for visitors who arrive from AI answers, which few agencies think about.

Its case studies are e-commerce revenue stories, such as a home gym brand with 118% more organic revenue after a Shopify replatform9. Good evidence of SEO skill; not yet evidence of AI answer gains. Several SaaS specialists won't take store clients, so OuterBox is one of the few real options here for retailers.

8. Go Fish Digital: best for technical SEO with digital PR

Best for: mid-market and enterprise brands · Price: not published; free GEO audit offered10

Go Fish Digital, based in Raleigh with offices in Boston, DC, Phoenix, San Diego and Jacksonville, sells GEO and an "AI Optimization" service aimed at how brands appear in ChatGPT and Google AI Mode10. It builds its own tooling too: the Barracuda tools include ChatGPT visibility monitoring.

The MoneyGeek case is headed as an AI visibility win, yet the figures shown are Google clicks (up 74.8%, from 67.5K to 118K) and impressions10. Ask for the AI numbers behind the headline.

9. Onely: best for large sites and AI-aware migrations

Best for: large brands with complex sites · Price: not published11

Onely's AI services include generative engine optimization, content strategy for AI, and the one offer we haven't seen elsewhere: AI-aware migration11. If you're replatforming or merging domains, that's worth a call, because a migration that breaks crawling or internal links can drop you from AI answers as fast as from Google.

The site shows enterprise logos (eBay, Oracle, Atlassian) but no AI-specific numbers, and its claim that clients see AI visibility gains "within weeks" comes without data. No pricing is published.

10. Level Agency: best for performance teams adding an AI layer

Best for: marketing teams already running paid and SEO programs · Price: not published12

Level Agency calls AI SEO "the additive layer" on top of traditional SEO, which is a fair description of the field12. Its service runs from an AI visibility and entity audit through content restructuring and new content to CRO for AI-referred visitors, with reporting on citations and share of voice across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity.

The page cites industry statistics but no client results, so you'd be buying on process. Ask for a sample report before the first invoice.

What does "AI SEO agency" actually mean?

It means an agency that optimizes for AI search, or an agency that uses AI to do SEO, and you need to know which one you're talking to. The first kind tracks how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI features answer your buyers' questions, then changes pages, entities and third-party coverage to get you named. The second kind uses AI tools to produce keyword research, briefs and content faster. Using AI in the workflow is fine. Selling volume is the problem: Google's spam policy lists "using generative AI tools or other similar tools to generate many pages without adding value for users" as an example of scaled content abuse13.

The labels overlap with two others. AEO agencies lean on question mapping and answer-first pages (see the best AEO agencies), and GEO agencies focus on citations in generative answers (see the best GEO agencies). AI SEO agencies usually start from classic SEO and add the AI layer, which is why most of this list are long-running search shops. Our AEO vs SEO vs GEO comparison breaks down where the work differs, and the glossary entry for AI SEO lists the related terms, including LLM SEO.

Our takeDon't hire an AI SEO agency for its AI tooling. Hire it for what it can show changed in AI answers for a client like you, with the prompt list and dates attached. On this list, only Arobis AI, Siege Media and Thrive put AI answer metrics on their own sites, and only Arobis AI publishes a price. That says more about the market than about any one firm.

How much does an AI SEO agency cost?

A focused AI SEO program starts around $2,500 to $5,000 a month, but almost nobody publishes a number. On this list, Arobis AI is the only agency with a public AI SEO price ($2,500 and $5,000 a month)1. Thrive's contact form offers SEO budget bands such as $2,500 to $5,000 a month, which hints at its range without committing to one8. The other eight quote after a call.

You'll find tidy price ranges for most of these firms on other "best AI SEO agencies" lists. We couldn't trace those numbers to any agency page, so we haven't repeated them. For comparison, agencies selling the closely related AEO and GEO services publish more: entry retainers of $3,000 to $5,000 a month are common, and our AEO pricing breakdown lists every public number we found.

  • Under $3,000 a month: a focused AI search program (Arobis AI Foundation) or doing it in-house with a tracker. Below that, run your own checks with a free AI visibility checker.
  • $3,000 to $10,000 a month: smaller AI SEO shops and mid-market agencies such as Quoleady, Thrive and Level Agency (custom quotes).
  • Enterprise budgets: iPullRank, Siege Media and Seer Interactive. None publishes a floor, but their client lists (American Express, Zendesk, 130+ enterprise accounts) tell you the scale they're built for.

How to choose an AI SEO agency in four checks

  1. Run the baseline yourself first. Write ten buyer questions, run each three times in ChatGPT and Perplexity, and count how often you're named. Arobis AI's free AI visibility checker does a quick version of this. Bring the result to every call.
  2. Match the agency to your bigger problem. If Google can't crawl or index you properly, start with a technical shop (iPullRank, Onely, Go Fish Digital). If you rank fine but AI answers name competitors, start with an AI-first agency (Arobis AI, Quoleady).
  3. Ask for AI proof, not Google proof. Seven agencies on this list show no client AI answer metrics on their own sites. That doesn't make them bad, but you should see one AI answer they changed before you pay for AI work.
  4. Check the engines too. If your buyers use Copilot at work or Claude for research, an agency tracking only ChatGPT and AI Overviews will miss part of the picture.

Here's a scoring sheet that keeps the comparison honest after three sales calls blur together:

agency, focus (ai_search | ai_assisted_seo), engines_tracked, prompts_tracked,
runs_per_prompt, ai_result_shown (y/n), google_result_shown (y/n),
price_quoted, minimum_term, technical_seo_in_house (y/n), owns_content (y/n)

Red flags when hiring an AI SEO agency

  • A promise of "#1 in ChatGPT". Google's advice on hiring an SEO is to "find someone else" if a provider guarantees first place15, and AI answers change from run to run: SparkToro found under a 1 in 100 chance of the same brand list appearing twice16.
  • Hundreds of AI-written pages a month as the main deliverable. That's the pattern Google's scaled content policy describes13.
  • A special "AI markup" package. Google says there are no additional requirements or special optimizations needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode17.
  • Reports with AI traffic but no prompt list. Without the questions being tracked, you can't tell whether a gain came from the agency or from a model update.
  • No technical review in the first month. AI engines that search live depend on the same crawlability as Google; our guide to AI crawlers and robots.txt shows what to check.

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI SEO agency?

An AI SEO agency optimizes your website and brand so you rank in Google and get named in AI-written answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google AI Overviews. The work combines classic SEO (crawling, content, links) with prompt tracking, entity cleanup, answer-first page rewrites and placements on third-party sites that AI engines cite.

How much does an AI SEO agency cost?

Few agencies publish prices. Arobis AI charges $2,500 or $5,000 a month, and Thrive's contact form includes an SEO budget band of $2,500 to $5,000 a month. Enterprise firms such as iPullRank, Siege Media and Seer Interactive quote privately, and their client lists point to larger budgets. Related AEO agencies commonly publish entry retainers between $3,000 and $5,000 a month.

Is AI SEO different from regular SEO?

Partly. Most AI search engines retrieve pages through a search index before writing an answer, so crawlable, well-ranked pages still matter. What changes is the goal and the scoreboard: you track how often you're named across repeated AI answers rather than a ranking position, and third-party mentions, comparison pages and entity data carry more weight than they do in classic SEO.

Can an AI SEO agency guarantee a mention in ChatGPT?

No. Models choose sources through their own retrieval systems, and SparkToro's research found that the same prompt rarely returns the same brand list twice. Google's guidance on hiring an SEO says to walk away from guaranteed rankings, and the same applies here. A credible agency guarantees its work and reports a mention rate across many runs.

Should I hire an agency that uses AI to write SEO content?

Only if a person edits every page and each one answers a real question better than what already ranks. Google's spam policy treats generating many pages with AI tools without adding value as scaled content abuse. Ask how many pages the agency plans per month, who edits them, and which tracked prompt each page is meant to win.

How do I measure an AI SEO agency's results?

Agree on a fixed list of buyer prompts before the work starts, run each one several times per engine, and record how often you're named and which sources are cited. Re-run the same list monthly. Add a separate AI referral channel in analytics and a "how did you hear about us" field so you can connect mentions to pipeline.
