Coming next: email delivery
Coming Alert emails, the Monday weekly report and emailed sign-in links are built but not switched on yet.
- Until then, alerts go to Slack. Add an incoming webhook in Settings > Alerts. Every alert, minor ones included, is also listed in the dashboard's Alerts feed.
- New accounts start instantly. The trial opens without a sign-in email. If your 30-day session ends before email is live, write to editors@airanked.ai and we'll get you back in the same day.
- Saved addresses carry over. Email addresses you add in Settings > Alerts start getting alerts when delivery switches on, with no change needed on your side.
October 25, 2026: live demo, competitor tracking, a bigger trial and onboarding
New Five additions that make it easier to see what Monitor does and get more from it.
- Public demo. A read-only dashboard at monitor.airanked.ai/demo that monitors airanked.ai, so you can look around the real product before you sign up.
- Compare with a competitor. Every free scan report now has a compare box. Scan a rival and see both sites side by side, agent by agent.
- Competitor tracking. Add up to 2 competitor domains to each monitored site. Their robots.txt, firewall response, llms.txt and homepage are checked daily, and the dashboard shows which AI agents they let in that you block.
- Agency limits on the trial. The 14-day trial now covers up to 10 sites with 100 key pages each, so agencies can test Monitor on several clients before choosing a plan.
- Onboarding checklist. New sites get a short checklist that walks through alerts, log connectors and competitors.
October 25, 2026: billing through Lemon Squeezy
Billing Paid plans are bought from the Billing page in the dashboard, with Lemon Squeezy as reseller and merchant of record. Checkout opens to paying customers as soon as Lemon Squeezy finishes reviewing our store; until then, email editors@airanked.ai to upgrade.
- Pro ($99 a month, 1 site) and Agency ($199 a month, 10 sites) checkouts are linked to your account, so the plan upgrades as soon as payment goes through.
- Manage subscription or cancel opens the Lemon Squeezy customer portal for plan changes, card updates, billing history and cancellation.
- Cancelled plans keep working to the end of the paid month. Moving from Agency to Pro keeps the first site you added and pauses the others without deleting them.
See plans, billing and refunds and the refund policy.
October 25, 2026: accuracy and hardening fixes
Improved A round of fixes on launch day so the score and alerts describe what crawlers really get.
- Firewall detection. Challenge pages (including Cloudflare's interstitial and reCAPTCHA pages), the 999 status some sites send to bots, and 200 responses that are really small block pages are now counted as blocks. A probe that flips to blocked is confirmed with a second request before you're alerted, and CDN errors for a dead origin (Cloudflare 52x and 530) are reported as the site being down rather than as a bot block.
- robots.txt up to 512 KB. Files are now read up to 512 KB, the minimum parse size in the robots.txt standard (RFC 9309), instead of being cut short.
- HTML robots.txt handling. When robots.txt answers with a web page or a challenge instead of a text file, Monitor retries on the www or bare twin host and with a browser user agent. If it still can't read the file, agents show as Unknown instead of Allowed, and the last good copy is kept so no false "robots.txt changed" alert goes out.
- Partial scores. When bot protection blocks our server, the parts we couldn't measure are left out and the rest is scaled to 100, labeled as a partial score. Details are in partial scores.
October 25, 2026: AI Ranked Monitor launches
New The first public release of AI Ranked Monitor.
- Free scan. A homepage check at monitor.airanked.ai with no signup: how robots.txt treats 18 AI agents, a firewall probe as 7 agents, noindex, raw-HTML content, JSON-LD and llms.txt, with a shareable report.
- Daily monitoring. A list of key pages for each site (100 at most), picked from the sitemap and rechecked about every 24 hours, with a 14-day trial that needs no card.
- Alerts. Critical changes and warnings in Slack, every change in the dashboard's Alerts feed. Email delivery and the weekly report are listed under Coming next. The alerts reference lists each one.
- Log connectors. Snippets for Cloudflare Workers, Next.js, WordPress and Node, with OpenAI and Perplexity visits verified against their published IP lists. See connecting logs.
- AI Access Score. A 100-point score built from robots.txt access (35), firewall access (25), key pages (20), content without JavaScript (10), JSON-LD (5) and llms.txt (5), explained in how the score works.
Frequently asked questions
How often does AI Ranked Monitor ship updates?
Updates ship when they're ready rather than on a fixed schedule. Every change that affects what Monitor checks, how it scores or what you see in the dashboard is listed here with its date. Fixes that change no behavior you can see, such as internal refactoring, aren't listed.
Do I need to do anything when Monitor changes?
Usually not. Checks and scoring run on our side, so changes apply to every site on the next check. If a change needs action from you, such as updating a log connector snippet, the entry says so and the dashboard shows the new code on the Connect logs tab.
