Questions
What does AI Ranked Monitor do?
It checks up to 100 key pages on your site every day the way AI crawlers see them: robots.txt rules for 18 AI agents, firewall blocks, noindex tags, errors and pages that need JavaScript to show their text. When something changes for the worse, you get a Slack and email alert within a day. Pro is $99 a month after a 14-day free trial.
Is it an AI rank tracker?
No. A rank tracker runs prompts and tells you whether AI answers name your brand. Monitor checks the step before that: whether AI crawlers can reach and read the pages they would cite. It doesn't run prompts or track mentions.
Does it cover Gemini?
It checks the parts you control. Monitor reads the Google-Extended rule in your robots.txt, which decides whether Gemini apps can use your pages to ground answers, and runs the indexability checks Google's crawler also depends on: status codes, noindex and JavaScript-only content. It doesn't test Googlebot itself or track Gemini answers.
Can I try AI Ranked Monitor for free?
Yes, in two ways. The free scan checks your homepage against 18 AI agents with no signup. The 14-day trial monitors up to 10 sites, 100 key pages each, with no card. When the trial ends, monitoring pauses until you choose Pro at $99 a month or Agency at $199 a month.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. Monitor checks your site from the outside, the way a crawler does, so you only enter your domain. Seeing real AI bot visits is optional and takes one snippet for Cloudflare, Next.js, WordPress or Node. The setup guide covers each step.
Where do alerts go?
To Slack, to email and to the alert feed in your dashboard. Each alert names the agent, the page and what changed. On Agency, every site gets its own alert feed and Slack channel, so client alerts stay separate.
